- What is the WhatsApp API price?
- Meta bills per delivered template, not per conversation. Marketing is the expensive line; utility and authentication are cheaper; replies in the 24h window are free. This page uses official list rates in USD. The platform (Chatsac) is a separate line.
- How much does the WhatsApp API cost per message?

- Is this what Chatsac charges?
- No. This is Meta's fee per delivered template message. Chatsac is the platform (multi-agent inbox, automation, CRM). On the call, split the two lines: Meta + platform. Mixing them hides markup.
- Does Meta still charge per 24h conversation?
- No. Since 1 July 2025 billing is per delivered template message (PMP). Service replies (text, image, audio) inside the customer-opened 24h window are free. Utility inside that window is also free.
- Why is marketing almost 10x utility?
- Because marketing is unsolicited broadcast. Utility is transactional (order, delivery, reminder). If the operation sends 'your order shipped' as marketing, it is burning money. Recategorize the template at Meta.
- What if utility or OTP volume is huge?
- Meta has volume tiers per business portfolio, reset monthly. This calculator uses list rate on purpose: you do not underquote on the call. Lower tiers only apply once real account volume is known.
