How do I add a catalog on WhatsApp Business?

In the app: Settings → Business tools → Catalog. Each item needs a title, at least one photo and a country of origin. This page only checks the photo (format, weight, 1:1 crop) in the browser. It does not create the catalog at Meta and it does not send the item.

How do I create a WhatsApp catalog?

You can create it in the WhatsApp Business app or in Commerce Manager (WABA). Image rules differ. Use the selector above before you upload. Without a title and country of origin the item stays hidden even if the photo is fine.

Why was my catalog rejected if the photo looks fine?

Do the app, Commerce and the API share one image spec?

No. Three surfaces. The app FAQ does not publish a photo MB cap. Commerce wants JPEG/PNG, 8 MB, 500×500 minimum. Cloud API image messages are 5 MB and are not a catalog. This page switches the rule in the selector instead of mixing them.

iPhone HEIC will not upload?

Many iOS camera files are HEIC. The catalog FAQ does not list HEIC. Export JPEG on the iPhone (Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible) and run again. This tool does not ship an HEIC converter.

Is the photo enough for the item to show?

If it passes here, does Meta approve it?

No. This checks format, weight and crop in your browser. It cannot promise human review or category policy. Anyone claiming guaranteed approval is inventing the spec.
